Come alongside Mary as she teaches you her tips and tricks to painting bright, luscious, & luminous clouds from photographs. Learn what color is best for the underpainting and how to mix subtle color changes as you apply layers and layers to build up the values and volume of the clouds. These workshops are taught using acrylic paints on canvas.

Two independent workshops are offered, but students are more than welcome to attend both (at a discounted price) to create more paintings using the techniques taught, and as you develop your own style along the way.

Dates:

April 15th 10am-2pm - $85 a person (Registration deadline is April 8th)

Supplies:

• 2 Canvases anywhere 8 x 10in - 16 x 20in

• Photographs of clouds on a phone or printed

Paint, brushes, paper, pencils, water containers, paper towels, easels are provided.

There is a lunch break offered. Students are responsible for providing their own lunch/snacks.

Location: Mary’s Home Studio in Littleton (Belleview & Lowell). Address will be sent to students.
