Looking for . . . a children’s book illustrator!

Job Description:

At the beginning of camp, each student will be given an envelope with their “client’s” short story, and instructions for their children’s book. Learn to create character sheets and thumb nails as well as tips for line art, base colors, and details to present to your “client”. Receive feedback from your “client” halfway through the week. Changes or alterations must be made to your work to create a finished three-piece illustration that the “customer” is happy with and will pay you for (Yes! Fake money will be given out). Your work is due the last day of camp! Display all finished work at the All Art Jobs Showcase August 17th.

Requirements: Students must have drawing experience .

Supplies needed: Sketchbook, pencils, erasers, a pad of watercolor paper (cold press), Micron pens, and a laptop or iPad for doing research.

Age: 12-18

Camp 1: Monday July 15th - Thursday July 18th AFTERNOON 1:00-4:00pm
Camp 2: Monday July 22nd - Thursday July 25th AFTERNOON 1:00-4:00pm
Camp 3: Monday July 29th - Thursday August 1st AFTERNOON 1:00-4:00pm

SHOWCASE: Saturday August 17th 11:00am-1:00pm
