JOB TITLE: Fashion Designer


Looking for . . . Fashion designers to create a fashion line!

Job Description:

At the beginning of camp, each student will be given an envelope with their “clients” reference photos, ideas, inspiration, wants and dislikes for the fashion line they want you to produce. Learn correct figure proportions, layout, and process for creating clothing/costumes that the “client” will want to manufacture and sell. Watercolor and colored pencil will be used. Receive feedback from your “client” halfway through the week. Changes or alterations must be made to your work to create a finished series of a new fashion trend that the “customer” is happy with and will pay you for (Yes! Fake money will be given out). Your work is due the last day of camp! Display all finished work at the All Art Jobs Showcase August 17th.

Age: 12-18

Requirements: Students must have drawing experience.

Supplies: Sketchbook, tracing paper pad, set of colored pencils, and a laptop or iPad for doing research.

Camp 1: Monday June 3rd - Thursday June 6th AFTERNOON 1:00-4:00pm
Camp 2: Monday July 15th - Thursday July 18th MORNING 9:00am-12:00pm

SHOWCASE: Saturday August 17th 11:00am-1:00pm
