Urban Sketching & Painting (first Fridays)
Urban Sketching & Painting (first Fridays)
Join Mary on first Fridays during the Summer to learn about drawing and painting urban areas with watercolor.
HOW IT WORKS: Pick which first Fridays of the month you can join and meet us at the destination assigned that week with your supplies.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Mary will be teaching a new technique or area to focus on each week to give you fresh inspiration for your drawings/paintings (see the Lessons below). Mary will visit each artist while they are out and give personal critiques and ideas. Then all artists will reconvene for a brief show-and-tell before departing.
WHO IS THIS FOR? This class is for anyone who wants to learn to draw urban areas from life, and get more detailed lessons on perspective drawing and creating atmosphere with watercolors. This is for anyone who wants to freshen up their skills, or just plain have an excuse to go outside and paint this Summer! Recommended for Ages 13 - adult.
